dispatches from bongle.io
If you're reading this, you're early.
There isn't much here yet. A handful of games, a few avatars, an engine that breaks weekly.
bongle is a multiplayer voxel game engine and editor. The engine and editor are in early development, but progress is being shared early.
Join the Discord and say hi, and follow along.
More soon. Possibly a lot more. Possibly less. We'll see.
A preview of the webgl renderer for older devices, avatar previews in the game client, richer blockPreset apis, project descriptions, and feed tags.
The engine's core now runs in wasm and is a lot faster, blocks can emit particles, and the world editor works on touch.
A huge pile of new blocks, rails, wires, doors and spikes, worldedit-style building commands, a new homepage feed, Bingle in more places, bongle mcp over npx, local nodes and traits, and character and physics fixes.
